Not the beach this morning!

Down the beach early this morning with Barney as usual but shocked to find a section of the esplanade taped off and Police forensics officers examining a body!
It was all very surreal and at first I thought it was a film crew and actors working on a detective series.
Anyway, it wasn't, and according to the news reports, 2 passers-by had made the grim discovery a short time earlier.
No idea what had happened.
What a sad event just before Christmas.
Appropriately enough its been a howler of a day with bitter cold winds, grey skies, sleet, hail and rain.
Being Scotland though we've also had sunshine of course which brought out the rainbows.
