Spes - Hope

Seasonal mood lighting in the church. "Spes" means "Hope" in Latin, a section of a three paned chancel window.

A lot to think about this morning, as we prayed again for our City, and those involved in the Clutha Helicopter disaster. The owner of the Clutha talked briefly about the shock of it all, and the focus being on helping those who have been injured and bereaved.


For the record, I am not a fan of the lighting actually, as it distracts from the architecture and stained glass. However, it does give a Christmassy feel.
