This a Yankee Dryer, used in paper manufacturing. basically a large, heavy (100T or more at a guess) pressure vessel. There are only three places in the world who make them…or there were. The factory in Bolton where this came from just closed. This is the final one after 50 years of production. Do we make anything in this country, any more?
