Christmas Banner

This hangs at the front of the church at this time of year. A lady who is now in her late eighties made the banner about 15 years ago. In fact, she made a whole set of them which hang all round the church and some even have to be kept stored and then brought out because she made about a dozen - and they are large! Another very clever lady.

It's been sunny today after the absolutely torrential downpours which lasted until mid-morning. Then, tomorrow, the stormy onslaught...no joke for anyone travelling to visit relatives at Christmas.

Have been enjoying spending time with a friend today. Cooked a chicken casserole for lunch which was nice and tasty. Hope everyone has had a good weekend.
