Distant Snow

It has been yet another windy, wild, wet ,wintry day. There are apparently even more of them to come in the next week .

I can't remember such a prolonged spell of storms but I wouldn't mind if it got just a bit colder and the dampness became something a little more tangible.

There was a hint today that might happen. There is snow higher up , as this distant view from my back door indicated on a dark morning.
