'Santa knows your Granny!'

We took Son No 1, his wife and their 2 little people to the Spa Valley Railway this afternoon which goes between Tunbridge Wells and Eridge. The children were totally underwhelmed by the steam train as they were excited about seeing Santa in his grotto after the ride. He chatted to them when they eventually met up and gave them presents then as we were leaving said to our grand-daughter 'I think I know your Granny!' Puzzled looks all around and a distinctly uncomfortable feeling for me who desperately wanted to rip off his beard and see who it was.
It turned out that we had been on a PTA committee nearly 30 years ago when our children were at school together. Small world, even for Santa!
