Festive racing

The Rudolf Red Nose 5 mile race takes place on the Sunday before Christmas.

Today's race was in bright sunshine with lots of puddles and mud on the course to add to the fun.

Although fancy dress and festive clothing is optional, not dressing like this is considered rather bad form!

The winner ran too fast for his own good: I think he'd left a pan on a low simmer and was rushing to get back!

I ran slowly - very slowly!
But there is method: you see the winner got around 25 minutes for his entry fee. I got nearly 50 minutes.

That's twice as much time for my money, so twice the value that he got!

In other news, how long can you keep a turkey in a freezer?
The reason I ask is because I put one in our freezer on Thursday and it's dead!
