Day 2 in Ontario and I had an embarrassment of riches to choose from today. First, we went for a walk in a local forest and came across a fantastically decayed old car, and then we drove out to Algonquin Provincial Park (which is an absolutely huge wilderness area) and saw lots of wild animals (my favourite being this Snapper turtle.
I settled on this blip though as it was such a wonderfully atmospheric place to a jaded Londoner like me. There are lots of swampy areas like this - which my Canadian friends tell me are beaver ponds.
We then drove back home to Constance Bay via towns like Pembroke which had lots of nice old architecture like this and had a jolly nice dinner.
