Winter Splendour

Perfect weather for a day in Kyoto. Bright, sunny and not so crowded; winter is the best season to see this fascinating city. Although busy it's not suffocating and today was perfect for wandering through the traditional, narrow streets. It turns out there is substantial scaffolding up at Kiyomizu-dera Temple which partly accounts for the lack of crowds. It was still lovely.

Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out.
