end of an era

This is the van. Sometimes called the kerb crawler. We leased this van 3 years ago for our street chaplaincy night outreach to women involved in street prostitution.

We no longer do the night outreach as we work in a different way. Within a year of our work starting the Suffolk murders happened. I met 3 of the 5 murdered women.

Many memories both happy and sad linked with this van. Now the lease is up and I took it to get the signs removed.

Our work with the women continues but in a different way and, thankfully, in daylight.
