Our five star introduction to Auckland

We made our way into Auckland from the airport and checked in to the Langham. This is a picture of the very extravagant chandelier and Christmas display in the rejection area. We got a room upgrade as we are on honeymoon. It was so stupidly posh and lavish, I felt quite underdressed in my shorts and vest!
We went for a walk around Auckland but it was a bit warm so we returned to the hotel, found our room then crashed. The beds were just too comfortable! Eventually woke up at about 9pm so headed down to the pool for a dip and a jacuzzi. Back to the room for a bit more sleeping!
