Had a small soirée tonight, and spent all day tidying the rest of the house that the guests didn't even peek at (you'll always find them in the kitchen at parties!).

Those who have very good memories will remember a sofa full of books, including a ballooning book, from January 2012... Those books are finally gone from the sofa and have been put in the loft, in advance of some building work in the near future. The drum kit that we set up in March this year is also back on the loft. We actually have a house back!

And I can heartily recommend espresso martinis. Go on, you've earned one.

But to make it totally middle-England, it's decaf darling, obvs!
