The Shortest Day

Today was the shortest day of the year but we packed a lot into it. I (Chris) did Aylesbury Park Run to start the day. The conditions were not good, wind and rain but more than that my energy levels were low, my slowest time to date as a result.

We both went into town for the final sweep of Christmas shopping and then tackled Tesco for hopefully the final pre-Christmas visit.

This evening we've had a lovely meal out with good friends Ruth and David in the intriguingly named Bat and Ball. A lovely pre-Christmas Saturday.

A blip grabbed from the top of the multi-storey car park. The daylight was pretty much gone but the combination of day and electric light seemed interesting. Don't look too close, a high ISO iPhone shot so quality is low!
