Burning of the Clocks

Every year, on the shortest day of the year, there's a lantern-lit parade through Brighton to mark the passing of the old year followed by fireworks and a burning of lanterns on the beach. Stormy weather meant no bonfire or fireworks this year, but the rain held off for the procession.
