Winter solstice

... and kids last school day this year. Emma got an excellent report card, as always, her grades were only tens and nines (out of ten). After a short ceremony at school we went to granny's, she gave her special stipends to her grandchildren. In the picture is Emma at granny's with her self-made and decorated gingerbread heart.

Then we hurried to our hairdresser Mari, and kids got haircuts.Rest of the day we have worked in upstairs and it's finally starting to look much better! Tomorrow we'll clean the middle floor.

I'm very glad that days will start to grow longer. It was very dark, grey and rainy day today.
