WE WON!

WHOHOO! We finally won a match!

It’s been a long time coming, but today Neath finally won a league match against Bridgend 18-11. It was a real bottom of the table clash, loads of mistakes and not much entertainment, but at the end of the day we come out on top. We can’t get too cocky though, we have another important game on Boxing Day against local rivals Aberavon, who are also in trouble.

In truth this game could have gone either way, Bridgend had chances and bombed them, and we had a couple of chances. We struggled up front in the scrums, we fell of tackles again, and it wasn’t until Jack Jones came on did we have any real passion in the front five. We may have won but we still know we need to improve. We’re fighting for our survival.
