Winters Bounty

Yes, you are not mistaken. Its me treading grapes in a bucket, in our Kitchen.
I grow grapes (merlot) in my greenhouse, and every year we throw them on the compost heap. Such a waste.
Not this year though! Thanks to T''internet, we are making wine. (well having a go anyway).
I left them on the vine as long as I dared, then picked them today.
So, Audrey and I spent the afternoon making hooch, including bottling up Plum Brandy and Plum Vodka prepared in September. Audrey is very clever at this sort of thing.
Just one thing occurred to me (when it was too late), It would have been better if I had placed the bucket in the bath tub first. Doh!
