Electric Sunset

This is the Hackney Channel that runs into the River Teign. The sun was going down behind Newton Abbot with lovely colours but I wanted to avoid the electricity pylon that was right in front of the setting sun. Unfortunately there was no other angle. Oh well, why not make a feature of it and use the lines as extra lead-in! We're almost under the main A380 which you'll have travelled on if you're coming into Torquay and you can see it to the left of the image.

It's been a fairly foul day, The rain stopped this afternoon but it's blowing a hoolie out there. I have a feeling it's the same all over the country.
