Shortest Day

It may be the shortest day of the year today but I still managed to fit a lot in. There's plenty to do before Christmas.
I went out in the car to deliver Christmas cards to those WI members who didn't appear at the meeting on Wednesday. It was teeming with rain although not cold. I got pretty wet. I was determined to get an outdoor blip, whatever the weather, so I stopped at a likely spot, popped out of the car as quickly as possible and blipped the rain splattered surface of this pond. Such a gloomy day!
It is a good thought that the days will now get longer, even though there is a lot more winter to come.
