Shadows on the Snow

It was a beautiful, sunny day with a beautiful blue sky. I wanted to take photos by the pond so Razzle and I broke a trail through the hip deep snow. It was a very dry light snow so it was not impossible and proved to be very invigorating. This was taken about 1 in the afternoon. The sun is so low in the sky that even on a bright sunny day the shadows are very long.
