Ahoy there captain mummy!

Had lovely afternoon and evening with my brother and his family.

They came round about 4ish and the kids had a fantastic time all playing together. Then they all sat nicely had their sausages and mash for tea. Not a single crumb left! Then all three of them got in the bath. It was sooo cute and they all played so nicely. Bedtime went without a hitch too. Huzzah!

Then it was time for our pizza night. We were planning too also watch a film but we all got chatting and before we knew it, it was 10 o'clock, bit late to put a film on, so we carried on chatting. Really good to have some quality with J&R. It's lovely to see them with the kids but also good to have some adult conversation for a change. Felt like we were catching up with a lot of lost time.

Mr J finally fell asleep in the chair and that signalled bedtime for us all. I was out like a light apart from randomly waking up thinking that one of the kids had got out of bed and was in our room, very spooky "I'm being watched" kinda feeling. Not used to Kids being in beds with no sides yet!

At the moment it's the morning after. Everyone has gone into town for last minute shopping and I'm having a rest at home alone (and catching up on my blipping)...bliss.
