early mornings

I do enjoy been up early in a morning and having 7 dogs to sort out first thing I would rather do it when the humans I live with are still asleep, its much easier without them under my feet.
I enjoy sitting with my poochies and having my coffee, they snuggle up and keep me warm till the heating kicks in. Its all a bit hectic first thing as they are fussy to see me and greet me as though I have been away for a week.
I popped the christmas lights on this morning and sat and watched the lights flicker, it was still dark outside been only 6ish, it felt quite serene and peaceful.

Its the run up to the big day, husband is still in bed sleeping one off no doubt he will turn up at some point this morning with that haggered around the eye look smelling like a bottle of Carlsberg but if you can do it Christmas when can you?
