Powerless!

We had a huge winter storm this morning, which made a mess and caused us problems. About 4:30 this morning, my wife left for work. Shortly after that, the storm and snow was so heavy, it pulled the power line and electricity meter off the house. It was very scary to have live power lines down across the driveway. Fortunately, I was here by myself. Rocky Mountain Power came out and cut the power line to the house so we were safe again. They informed us we would have to put on a whole new service box and connection, since the old one was not up to code. So, after $300.oo worth of parts, an electrician (don't know yet how much he'll charge), and much work and effort, our power was restored about 10 p.m. It took our satellite TV and Internet connection with it.
