Wet Wet Wet : Greatest Hits Tour

What a totally brilliant evening at The Hydro, Glasgow. A new 13,000 seater arena. Marti and the boys were on form, thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The music balance was great, impressive lighting and video backdrop. Singing along to all the old favourites, the audience were certainly up for it, and sang as loud as the band at times. Finished with "Love is All Around", which topped the charts in 1994 for 15 weeks.

We had guest seats, VIP passes, and joined family and friends at the After Show party. A real treat, for which we are very grateful. Blue and Philippa Hanna were the support acts, they certainly warmed up the crowd. Really enjoyed both.

My one regret perhaps was opting to take my Canon Powershot. It didn't perform too well in low light. However I didn't want to be stopped taking an SLR into the venue, you know how these places can be quite tricky about "big cameras". You should have seen the Press gear ... a bit too heavy for me though!
