Christmas Jake

Today Jake's mama had a dentist appointment so she dropped him off at our house. It was a surprise to see him dressed in a sweatshirt his mom wore 32 years ago. Except for the brown eyes (hers are blue) I felt like I had gone back in time! I kept a few articles of clothing and some special toys from the baby and toddler years and every time we moved I wondered if keeping those boxes was worth it. Now I can say it surely was!! Grateful today for the little bit of pack rat in me!
