Amazing how not even a full dose of his medicine can perk him up (still having to try and 'hide' it in his food).

I had to leave SWMBO to look after both the monsters this morning as I had a funeral to go to.
It was somebody I used to work with who was only a few months older than me. He had a very short, unexpected illness.
It was one of the biggest funerals I have attended. The seating capacity of the crematorium is 250. I was standing in the doorway and there were probably another 50 people listening on the external speakers.
I am glad it wasn't raining (but the wind was bitter).

This evening I will be raising a glass to 'Pockets' - he will be a sadly missed character who was (as his son said so well) definitely not a PC PC.
