The holly and the ivy (without the ivy)
Washing machine man here again at 9am, dishwasher man we nearly missed but Jay chased him down the road so white goods are all in working order ( don't tell the fridge it is a white good in case it want to join in with the dramatics)
Lots of Christmas wrapping and sorting completed, forgot completely about having a coffee with my mum, went to church for Will's end of term thing. Turns out there is all this stuff about four advent candles representing different people and Will knows it all!! I had never heard of any of it before, heathen that I am.
A group of children I had, on the whole, never seen before came round at four o'clock to see if Daisy wanted to go into town. I gulped a bit, threatened about coming back at five and off she went. And came back at five to five, very happy. Ugh, it was easier when she was five or something.
I am going to work on Monday, I thought it would be nice and quiet, we could go for a nice lunch and generally kick back. Obviously there is a major, risky delivery and no one else will be there to make any decisions when it goes tits up. Oh well, it's days off yet.
