Four kisses

A ghastly day weatherwise - gales, greyness, heavy showers. Himself went off to Bantry to do the shop and I did the annual Christmas house clean - both highly virtuous.

I had a very soggy wander around the garden and was amazed to see a gang of long tailed tits chrirruping happily, several little firecrests and two egrets! Raindrops looked like the only possible blip until Himself came home bearing mistletoe! It seems pretty scarce these days and this sprig has apparently come from France where it was happily growing on a poplar tree. Four berries on my little sprig that means four kisses :)

The sons arrive tomorrow, weather permitting. Amazingly the flights coincide so hopefully there wont be too much lurking at Cork airport. Fingers crossed as the airport was built on the windiest, foggiest, dampest patch of Ireland!

Off to make some mincepies!
