Enjoy yourself!

It’s been a non-stop day!

First up was an unexpected walk up Penyfan with a few friends, considering I haven’t been up there in months my legs were surprisingly good. The weather was bonkers! When we started out it was blue skies, the clouds quickly came in with a mixture of rain and hail. Reaching the summit we were hit by strong winds, approximately 50mph winds so we didn’t hang around making our way to Penyfan. On the way back down then we were blasted by hail, which was really stinging, and then this turned to snow. Just an average walk up Penyfan really ;)

Tonight was a trip to the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff to see Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Band. Well what a blast! It was one big party from start to finish and we had a really great time, laughing, singing and dancing. Melanie C, ex Spice Girls, came on and did a few songs with the band and she was really good, but the star turn was Ruby Turner who was absolutely beltin out the tunes! Oh and a passing mention of Jools’ drummer, Gilson Lavis, who did an absolutely sensational drum solo!

I really have enjoyed myself today!
