No good for coffee!

Another indoor blip I'm afraid!

This "Cup of Knowledge" is a fortune teller's cup.

Tea leaves, left in the cup (Yuk!) after it had been turned upside down and turned round three times in the saucer, would stick to the card images and would then be "read" to the user. There used to be a little booklet with it to explain the meanings but unfortunately over the years the "Knowledge" has been lost.

It was made by Jackson & Gosling, Grosvenor China. Unfortuantely I have no other knowledge about it!

Although I treasure it, it isn't really my cup of tea!!!
