Another goodbye

Crib service and goodbyes at the last of our schools today. Every child in every class had helped to make a wonderful card book and I was given some wonderful presents. The framed print with a special personal message will be a lasting treasure and I was deeply touched. The tissues had to come out this time, not just for myself but for some staff and children as well! Hugs all round!!!

After three days I feel emotionally drained and exhausted. There can now be a respite in the goodbyes for the next two weeks as we concentrate on Christmas.

Over to the new house this afternoon. The decorators have finished and the carpet has been laid. All work is now complete (almost) and it's over to me. I can't believe how much dust the decorators generated. Cleaning will have to wait until after Christmas. We're out carol singing at a local supermarket tonight.

UPDATE - We raised £236 in two hours singing. We enjoyed it and had a fun time.
