Tonight when I picked up Miles from school I surprised him with telling him we had a fun date planned, which included a train ride and tunnels. He quickly went round to all his friends bragging about his fun plans, yelled bye and ran out the door. We stopped at home to pick up dad and hit up the Max train and went downtown to see the big Christmas tree. We were extra lucky that there were Christmas Carolers there too. So we stayed and danced and sung along for a long time before getting too cold. Then hopped on the train to come home.
He told us on the way home from the train station, "I had fun!"
