Damselfly

I specifically didn't shoot this little damsel in the usual side-on, all in focus position, because I wanted to catch the sunlight sparkling on it's wings.

A nice cool change came through this afternoon, with about 5 minutes of rain. A bit more would have been nice. The fields and bush are starting to get the usual summer sunburnt look about them, with everything crackly underfoot.
