Two Stars

A treat today courtesy of my Japanese teacher who took me to a wonderful Japanese restaurant in Kyoto. Awarded 2 stars in the Michelin Guide I knew that not only did it look sensational but it would taste sensational. Despite the stars it was a friendly and casual atmosphere, the owner prepared most of our dishes personally, which were exceptional. Well worth a return visit.

Food...can look beautiful, taste exquisite, smell wonderful, make people feel good, bring them together, inspire romantic feelings….
