Painting

I spent the day with my friend Chris painting at a friend's house. I think we will be there for a few more days but the good thing about it is at the end of the day you just pack up and come home!

Another case of bureaucracy gone made; my friend Judith has just finished renovating the rear of her house which basically was replacing what was there already. There was no increase in building height plus her house is no where near the height of her neighbours but because of her proximity to the airport she had to go through various airport authorities to have the small project approved. The result was months of delay and the builder then reviewing and increasing the quote.
