Synagoge
Synagogue
The new Ohel Jakob synagogue was built 2004-2006 at Sankt-Jakobs-Platz. It is the main synagogue of the Jewish community in Munich. The building is part of the new Jewish Center, consisting of the synagogue, the Jewish Museum Munich and a community center.
The original main synagogue (also named Ohel Jakob) had been set on fire and destroyed during the Kristallnacht (also referred to as Night of Broken Glass) on 09. November 1938 by the SA (the Nazi paramiltary forces) and non-jewish civilians.
There were so many cyclists, I wasn't able to get a clear shot without at least one light trail from a bike.
