Christmas hope

Every year at Christmas time the Huntington's Disease Society of America sells amaryllis bulbs to raise money for research to find a cure for the disease.
And every year the bulbs put forth three or four glorious blooms during the darkest time of year. What a picture of hope!
And every year the researchers find more ways to treat the symptoms of Huntington's and come closer to a cure.
And that gives me hope for my husband and daughter who have the disease.
