Productive day....

I actually had a day off today - can't remember when I last did during weekdays! Went shopping with Mum this morning and did some baking this afternoon. These mince pies are a Mary Berry recipe and they have orange zest in the pastry. I didn't have enough mincemeat (home made but not by me!) so grated an apple to pad it out. They taste yummy. All the rest in the freezer now for Christmas. I also made two lemon drizzle cakes - my favourite. Really enjoyed my day!
