Out with the old
Last day with the z4 - not really a baby suitable car and have a feeling in a few months I'm going to struggle to get in and out of the low seats so it's time for a change.
Spent the afternoon practising my childcare skills - picked my youngest 2 nephews up from school then met the oldest from the bus, looked after them and made them tea. Ok I put pizzas in the oven but very nice ones they were too. All went ok apart from the youngest losing a tooth whilst eating pizza - but he assured me it was really wobbly and seemed quite happy when the ice cream came out. Told them about the baby and they were very excited to be getting another cousin. Later on the youngest was cuddling me whilst we looked at a Tesco magazine and discussed what vegetables we both like (conclusion: he's not fussy at all especially compared to his brothers). He then started rubbing and patting my growing belly and shouted 'hello' to the baby. Was beyond cute. Doubt he'll be up for cuddles for too much longer.
The eldest is was off to a bowling party and proudly showed me his outfit - black skinny jeans and a black A&F T-shirt I bought him for his birthday. I'll take it as a sign of my good taste that he deemed it cool enough to wear out!
All in all a good practice and know my bro and sis-in-law appreciated a bit of help.
Got a bit worried when I got home as the fella was still out but hadn't messaged me. Turns out his phone was playing silly buggers but still was a bit cross when he got back. Oops.
