Sowing Soya

This is Wessie and Joyce sowing Soya Beans in between the citruses, on the farm.

Last year some of our farmers sowed a GM type of soys distributed by the Ministry and when we looked it grew little or no nodules meaning that there was no nitrogen fixed in the soil.

Here we are growing a local seed from Zambia which will give us a super crop and fix nitrogen at the same time.

Today Harisen messaged me from Salima, 500km to the south of Mzuzu, where he was working with C-Code and the Ministry for Water.
