Scuffed wooden floor

Desperation blip: the pic I had planned for today did not work out.

When I walked into the house after visiting a friend, I saw the slanting sunlight on the bookcase and a bit of the floor. (If I had known this was going to become a blip, I might have dusted the front door - or perhaps not! I'm atrociously lazy when it comes to keeping the house neat and tidy - there are so many other and more interesting things to do.)
