Her master's dog
Dear Tess, she is so loyal and wont take her eyes off T when he is around, ready to jump up and go where ever he goes whether on the tractor or walking across the fields.
The beagles came across the farm yesterday, they did race after a scent and over the railway line into a wood but luckily no hare was caught and no dogs squashed by the train.
T and J weaned about 26 calves so you can imagine the 24 hour noise with the mothers and their young bawling. This will go on for a few days and nights yet but soon they forget each other. The calves are six months old and quite large and can do very well by themselves now and the cows need a rest before the next lot of calves are born.
There was a lot of flooding on the lanes this evening and ferocious gales but luckily the more vulnerable trees came breaking and crashing down about a month ago.
