Star and moon

FAIL

As I came down stairs this morning, I noticed the moon light pouring in from the window. There was a bright star with it and it just seemed magical to me. I tried my best to capture it but feel I didn't have settings quite right.

Hubby has bought me an online photography course for Christmas, so I'm hoping that by the end of it I may have a slight clue as to what I am doing!!!
