DARK-EYED JUNCO

These Dark-Eyed Juncos are a little puff ball of a bird. It seems they’re constantly in motion, so I was lucky this one sat a moment on this bush. With snow as the background, it makes a very stark picture since this little guy doesn’t offer any color.

A friend invited us over this evening for dinner and to see pictures of their trip on a safari in Tanzania. What a fantastic experience! I'd love to go on a safari some day. The animals were gorgeous – I couldn’t help thinking what interesting blips they would make!
