Arum lily

Big surprise when I walked at the gardens today - the big metal "sculpture" has gone from the pond.

Asked a woman at the information centre what had happened to the "thing in the pond" - she said in very formal tones "The lake sculpture has been removed - it was always only there for a year" so I asked if it was going to be put up somewhere else, and she said they had to remove it in pieces and it was damaged so it won't be exhibited again. All very strange and a lot of money for the end result, but it was nice to see the pond back to how it was.

The lilies are lovely - and I'm not even an arum lily fan!
