Dressing up day

Today's Christmas event was "fancy dress day". Not Christmas fancy dress. Just fancy dress. Katie went as Miss Claus. Her friends went as a mix of batman, spiderman, a witch, cinderella, sleeping beauty. Her staff went in jammies, handmade Christmas jumpers, reindeer outfits. Lesley was Mrs Claus. Katie was very chuffed they were the same.

I picked her up early afternoon, although she refused to leave until she'd eaten her snack. We just had some time at home together. She spent a lot of the time eating. She had a really long bath and by 630 she was ready for a story in my bed and a sleep in hers. Hard work this Christmas lark!
