Club Awards

Tonight was our running club's awards night. It's a night to give club championship trophies and awards of achievements.

Each running coach (there are 3) gives someone in their group a Coach Award for their Athlete of the Year (or that's what my friend Mark called it anyway). My coach, Chris, was away in holiday so Dave our occasional coach gave the award.

This just looks like a normal bottle of wine - but what it actually is, is my prize! I won the Coach Award for our group! It was so unexpected and I was really embarrassed - cue an extremely red face and mumblings. Thank you to Dave and Chris! Nicola and Helen also won coach awards - very well deserved indeed!

Very well done to everyone who got club championship awards - there are too many to name, but they were all impressive!

In other news, the iPhone is alive and well! Woohoo!
