Secret Reading

Charlie is a bugger to get to sleep at night these days, using every tactic in the book (just one more page, pinky promise, no I will turn my light out in 5 minutes etc)

It's very hard to be cross when he is a great little book worm, even if he does need his sleep.


Since receiving a brilliant head torch for his birthday, the secret reading has become even more secret (to him.... I know he's doing it, I just pretend I don't, in a very mum like* way)

Tonight his bloody sister joined in.


* I'm find myself to be quite "un-mum like", so it is an odd phrase for me.
