Let there be light
A bit of seasonal bokeh on this wet and windy evening following a day of Christmas shopping with the hoards :S
I do like Christmas trees and it seems people have for a very long time. The ancient Egyptians were part of a long line of cultures that have treasured and worshipped evergreens. When the winter solstice arrived, they brought green date palm leaves into their homes to symbolize life's triumph over death. If it was good enough for them, it's good enough for me (although I'm all out of palm leaves). Another festive tradition I like is that of consuming Snowballs (the drink, that is). First one of the season tonight: cheers!
