Border Country

I do like a trip out, especially in search of interesting shops on a quest for Christmas presents... Castle Douglas was the destination and it came up trumps. There were lots of interesting shops as well as an excellent gallery. It was great to visit such a thriving country town. (This shot snapped on the road back, approaching the Devil's Beeftub; light was fading and snow starting to fall. I want to go back in brighter weather for a closer look at the Beeftub!)
